But don't count on them to keep the ultraviolet light from destroying your skin cells and causing tumors and lesions. Read the full story here. WASHINGTON (May 24) -- Almost half of the 500 most popular sunscreen products may actually increase the speed at which malignant cells develop and spread skin cancer because they contain vitamin A or its derivatives, according to an evaluation of those products released today. AOL News also has learned through documents and interviews that the Food and Drug Administration has known of the potential danger for as long as a decade without alerting the public, which the FDA denies. The best sunscreens are wide brim hats, long sleeve shirts and trousers. However, if you must use the sunscreen goop, then please reference this list for the best sunscreen products. And here is a list of sunscreens that are not recommended. Upcoming AdventuresAdventure. Do you actually remember the word? When was the last time you went out for a real adventure? Well, you might consider your everyday life in this concrete jungle as one big adventure, and, in a way, it is. But, climbing the stairs to your office on the fifth floor doesn't really count as an adventure. Nor does a computer mouse and dust bunnies qualify as wildlife. Standing under the shower is not as exhilarating as standing under a waterfall, and standing on your balcony overlooking the city is not quite the same as standing on top of a mountain ridge overlooking the valley below. So dust off your boots, grab your water bottle, and join us for a hike. This area has a lot of adventure waiting just for you. Here are the proposed ADVENTURES for April and May. Please keep in mind that this schedule is not engraved in stone, and is subject to change. Remember, the only thing in life that is constant, is change.
