Monday, 26 May 2008

On Friday, we will meet at Rudy's Bar-B-Que near the intersection of Yarbrough and I-10 for our monthly social event. Come on out and relax and dine with your hiking buddies. If you have not yet had the opportunity to hike with us, you are still invited to join us.

If you intend to join us for the social event, please register no later than 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 29th so we can call in a reservation.

Next weekend, we have two hikes scheduled.

  1. Hike number one will be on Saturday, May 31st along the Sierra Vista Trail up to North Anthony's Nose. This hike will have an easy section for those not yet ready for a strenuous hike, and a strenuous section for those that want a challenging rock scramble up North Anthony's Nose. Click Here for more details and to register for this hike.
  2. Hike number two, will be on Sunday, June 1st to Bayor Pass located near Aguirre Springs. Robert Storey will lead this hike, and will begin on the Aguirre Springs side of the Organ Mountains. This is a moderately strenuous hike. Please Click Here for more details and to register for this hike.

Many thanks to Ken Steiner for the fabulous photos of Baylor Pass dispalyed above.
