Hubbell Canyon backpacking trip 6 Months ago Karma: 0
I was wondering if anyone can post more information on this trip.

"Then on Saturday, July 26th, we will have a hike and a backpacking trip. Hikers and backpackers will begin the hike in Hubbell Canyon. Backpackers will spend the night along the trail and the hikers will continue on to Bluff Springs. This is a moderately difficult hike of about 9.5 miles."

Is the plan to hike, camp, then backtrack or hike across to bluff springs and shuttle back to the starting trail head to the cars? I have no idea where these places are which adds to the confusion. I'm trying to convince my wife to start backpacking with me and after meeting everyone on the Pine Tree trail hike I think this would be a nice trip to start her out on. She was a little worried about going for the first time with a bunch of hikers but she would rather go out with a group her first time then by ourselves. You know the whole safety in numbers.

Anyhow I also wanted to know if there was going to be a water source on the trail would we need to carry all our water.

Thanks
